Kick It Leadership Development Program
- Target Trainees: Kick It Taekwondo students of any rank.
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Age: 12 years.
- Commitment: Demonstrated dedication to Taekwondo through consistent attendance and active participation.
- Instructor Recommendation: A positive endorsement from the student’s primary instructor.
- Training Overview:
- Duration: 6 months.
- Core Curriculum:
- Fundamentals of leadership and ethical conduct in martial arts.
- Introduction to basic teaching methodologies and effective communication.
- Understanding the core values and philosophy of Kick It Taekwondo.
- Personal growth in discipline, responsibility, and teamwork.
- Hands-on experience in leading warm-ups and assisting with beginner classes.
- Certification Assessments:
- Written Exam: Testing knowledge of leadership principles, teaching methodologies, and Taekwondo philosophy.
- Practical Exam: Demonstrating competence in leading a warm-up, assisting in a beginner class, and exemplifying leadership behaviors.
Level 2 Kick It Junior Instructor Certification

Kick It Junior Instructor Certification
- Target Trainees: Students who have successfully completed the Kick It Leadership Development Program and hold a Red Belt or higher.
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Age: 14 years.
- Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Kick It Leadership Development Program.
- Instructor Recommendation: A positive endorsement from the student’s primary instructor.
- Training Overview:
- Duration: 6 months to 1 year.
- Core Curriculum:
- Advanced instructional techniques and classroom management.
- Understanding developmental stages in students and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Training in safety protocols and basic first aid.
- Deepening knowledge of Taekwondo forms (Poomsae), sparring, and self-defense.
- Gaining observational experience by assisting in regular classes.
- Certification Assessments:
- Written Exam: Covering advanced teaching techniques, safety protocols, and student development.
- Practical Exam: Leading an entire beginner or intermediate class, including warm-ups, technical instruction, and cool-downs.
Level 3 Kick It Certified Instructor Program
Master advanced instructional techniques and develop the skills to independently manage classes and events. Learn to create effective lesson plans while honing your expertise in Taekwondo and martial arts pedagogy.
Kick It Certified Instructor Program
- Target Trainees: Students who have completed the Kick It Junior Instructor Certification and hold a Kukkiwon-certified 1st Dan or higher Black Belt.
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Age: 16 years.
- Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Kick It Junior Instructor Certification.
- Demonstrated Competence: Proven ability to lead classes independently.
- Training Overview:
- Duration: 1 year.
- Core Curriculum:
- Mastery of advanced Taekwondo techniques, including high-level forms and sparring.
- In-depth exploration of martial arts pedagogy and psychology.
- Skills in curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Techniques in conflict resolution and student motivation.
- Experience in leading and managing large classes and events, such as belt tests and tournaments.
- Certification Assessments:
- Written Exam: Covering advanced instructional methods, curriculum planning, and conflict resolution.
- Practical Exam: Conducting a complete class, including advanced techniques, and developing a lesson plan for a series of classes.
Level 4 Kick It Master Instructor Certification

Kick It Master Instructor Certification
- Target Trainees: Instructors who have completed the Kick It Certified Instructor Program and hold a Kukkiwon-certified 3rd Dan or higher Black Belt.
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Age: 21 years.
- Track Record: Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a significant contribution to the Kick It Taekwondo community.
- Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Kick It Certified Instructor Program.
- Training Overview:
- Duration: 1 to 2 years.
- Core Curriculum:
- Leadership in martial arts and the management of multiple dojangs (schools).
- Mentorship and development of other instructors.
- Advanced Taekwondo techniques and their effective teaching applications.
- Business management and operational skills for running a successful Taekwondo franchise.
- Organizing and leading high-level events, such as regional tournaments and instructor workshops.
- Certification Assessments:
- Written Exam: Covering leadership, advanced teaching techniques, and business management.
- Practical Exam: Leading a high-level seminar or event, mentoring an assistant instructor on a project, and a comprehensive evaluation by a panel of senior instructors.
